****doll did an amazing job at creating this forum, but all i'm seeing is another version of the offtopic board of dark forum...with about the same...level of  conversation...the same posters engaging in the same activity...


****doll has the right idea...there's just not enough to entice those who want to talk about more than...well...silliness, socializing and who can create the greatest insult.


maybe religion, philosophy, the news board is a nice idea...but there's not much in the news that people seem to want to talk about around here...social boards are nice, but there has to be some meat to a board...there are those that would rather discuss something concerning the rise of man from primordial ooze, the difference between the clovis people and contemporary native americans...wicca being a fluffy religion versus witchery which doesn't necessarily tie in...can humans ever find absolute happiness, or is it that animal aspect that leaves us with a feeling of always needing more, is there such a thing as good or evil, or are they simply constructs made by man or is it influenced by the active society?  


some posters have more interests than trying to compete and see who can get the most posts in a day, who can make the most nonsense in a post...or who is the snoggiest of the snoggable people


more avid and a wider variety of posters may help out...and perhaps letting people complain about what they want may be nice...and a wider variety of interests...


It's an open forum, and if i want to make an issue about whatever selfish morons are crybaby enough to be causing hassles at darkforum, over not getting their way, why can't i?


i've offered some subjects for conversation...guy person may bring some...challenge to the board, he has a way of...generating avid debate.

but hey, if you want to dictate what people can and can not talk about, complain or critique about here...who am i to question that?


i'm here because ****doll invited me...so i thought i'd give it a go...she's got a good structure, and i admire what she's trying to do...some of the attempted conversations need more work however...

I'd suggested to FD that she get a philosophy/religion forum going. You know me, I'd be all over that.


Also, I think, on this forum, we should connect it to a world events forum, so that all of the intellectual stuff would be in the same place.


Spirituality and occult might also find a shoe-in. And perhaps expanding (sometime in the far future) the Adult forum to have a section specifically for BDSM might bring in... throngs... of... people that aren't sure what it is... but think it sounds sexy...

Here's the deal guys.  Soon we should be switching over to a new board.  We're not taking all these threads, or all these converstaions, or all these forums with us.  We're not, they stay.  I don't really see a point in making all these new forums, and encouraging people to start all these great conversations when in a week or two, we're going to be somewhere else.


As far as meaty conversations go well sht.  I can't control peoples conversations... wtf?  I mean really, you want me to think for you, or others...?  i don't think so, and even if ya do I'm not willing to do it.  You want to have in depth conversations about the thermo dynamics of americas nuclear technology, go for it... you want to have a coversation about the crap stuck to the bottom of your boot, go for it.  THAT, my dears, was the WHOLE point.  If ya don't like it, get lost. (lol... or wait for df to come back...lol) 


(And why the fuk is this thread even here?  I'm not going to erase it cause that's what this place is about, being able to say what crap you want to say... but uh... as far as I know everyone thinks Sire is behind the attacks(this is JUST a rumor).  He is not a member of this board.  Take all this bullsht drama back to df where it belongs, come on.)
